These Terms and Conditions together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy represent the agreement between us, NAFI AUTO EXPERT S.R.L. and you, the renter, for car rental services and apply to all our contracts for services rendered. By continuing to browse this site you accept de facto, the terms of use described below.
NAFI AUTO EXPERT S.R.L. may periodically change the conditions and terms under which car rental services are performed, therefore we recommend that you periodically check our website to take into account any changes made. If you , the renter , do not agree with any of our rental terms or conditions, you should not continue browsing this website. By confirming that you wish to book a car through our website, online or by telephone, you indicate that you have read, understood and accepted these terms, conditions and privacy policy.
By entrusting a vehicle to you, we commit you to the contractual terms and conditions of hire set out below, subject to force majeure, as provided by Romanian law.
Vehicle rentals available through this site are subject to standard rental car company rental contracts, which will be completed by you when you pick up a vehicle. Customers renting cars are requested to read carefully and confirm acceptance in accordance with all specified terms and conditions by signing the Rental Contract. The customer must comply with and abide by all terms of this contract. Any deviation from these terms requires prior written approval from the company.
Condiții general: The person renting a vehicle, called the Customer, must read the following Rental Agreement and approve it by
signing it. Breach of the terms of this rental agreement or where false information has been provided entitles the company to terminate the rental period before the agreed return date and time. The customer is responsible for all damages and costs caused to the rented vehicle or by any driver not mentioned in the contract and must be paid in full before leaving Romania and may request reimbursement from your supplier. The company reserves the right to refuse the rental. With our written consent you can extend the rental period. Sections of this agreement also include the information on the first page and other additional documents (e.g.: pick-up/drop-off report). Any changes/adjustments to this Rental Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
Dish shapeă: The main driver must have a credit card in his/her own name, a valid passport or ID and a driving license when picking up the car.
The card will also be used to pay for local taxes, additional equipment and any additional purchases. Cash or debit card payment is accepted if local protection was purchased at the counter. Accepted credit cards are Visa and Mastercard.
Period of înquirye: the period between the agreed date and time of pick-up and the agreed date and time of delivery. With the Company's written consent, at least 24 hours before the initial handover, the rental period may be extended, which means that the new handover date and time becomes the extended agreed return date and time. Extensions or late returns that have not been notified 24 hours prior to the agreed drop-off date and time will be subject to a penalty of €100 together with the rental fee for the extended rental days. Drop off at another location must be notified at least 12 hours in advance and, if approved by the Company, will be charged 1 euro/km as displacement. The Company has the right to monitor the vehicle by remote electronic monitoring tool, has the right to locate, stop and retrieve the vehicle used outside Romania or if the contract date and time expires.
Vă roarăm să rețineți: it is your responsibility to return the vehicle in the same condition as when you collected it, also clean inside and out, otherwise you will pay a cleaning fee of 15 euro. Please note that all cars have a policy of nefumători. A fine of €100 will be applied if this policy is not respected. 50 euros will be charged
if the vehicle needs a detailed beauty wash procedure to restore it to pre-rental condition.
Vă roarăm să rețineți: it is the customer's responsibility to pay all bridge and motorway charges (e.g. Fetesti bridge on A2) and to present proof of payment when returning the car, otherwise he will incur a penalty of 100 euro (crossing Fetesti bridge for both directions). The client authorizes the lessor to deduct the cost of any taxes and fees from the deposit. If the deposit is insufficient or has been returned to the customer, the latter authorizes the company to charge the balance or the total cost of any fees and commissions paid on the same credit/debit card used to pay for the vehicle together with an administration fee of 20 euro for each unpaid infraction incurred.
Responsibilityectcompany islandsi: provision of the operational vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer. If the vehicle is not in good working order (indicated by an authorized mechanic or not according to the manufacturer's manual, the customer's opinion or personal preference is not included (e.g. the customer considers the car to run too slow) The company will supply another similar vehicle within 48 hours. If the Company does not supply another vehicle, then it will refund the Customer for the remaining rental period. The Company is not responsible for damages, losses, fines, fault or any other type of legal issue made by the Customer during the rental of the vehicle, e.g.: prosecution and costs not covered by the products mentioned in this agreement.
Responsibilityectile clientului: must check the vehicle before driving and picking it up and take care of all legal documents of the car (in duplicate or original, depending on the needs of use). Apart from the natural running damage of the vehicle, the Customer will be responsible for any damage suffered during the rental period and will cover any repair costs (regardless of who is at fault) and financial damage suffered by the Company due to the repair of the vehicle (for example loss of other reservation contracts). Damages incurred by the Company due to the repair will be equal to the normal rental charge attributed to the rental period in which the vehicle is not used. The Customer will also cover all administrative costs of the damage and will notify the Company as soon as possible of the loss of the vehicle, damage or problems with the vehicle. Should such occur, the Customer is not allowed to use the vehicle without his permission.
* They must take care of the vehicle, making sure it is well locked and secure when not in use, that it is well secured from adverse weather conditions;
* To make sure you fuel the vehicle properly, check and maintain proper oil level, check and maintain proper tire pressure, check coolant level and do not overload the vehicle above the legal or manufacturer's limit. The customer will be responsible for all damages caused by the above;
* Will not use the car for passenger transport above the legal limit or the manufacturer's limit;
* He will secure the goods he is transporting with the rented vehicle and will not transport dangerous, toxic or flammable goods;
* Will not drive under the influence of drugs, alcohol, medication or any other use of intoxicants;
* You will not use the machine for towing or other activities not approved by this rental agreement, the law/authorities or the manufacturer's recommendation;
* Will not use the rented car for public transportation or as a reward, will not allow another person to drive or use the rented vehicle without consent, is not allowed to sell, rent or lease the rented vehicle;
* It will not remove features or signals that indicate the origins of the vehicle;
* Must cover the cost of taxes and penalties caused by the use of the vehicle outside the terms of this agreement;
* Must inform of the location and condition of the rented vehicle when requested;
* They must return the rented vehicle at the date and time agreed in the rental contract. The company can pick up the vehicle at any location and the customer will cover the cost;
* He/she is responsible for the rented vehicle until he/she returns the vehicle keys. If he/she returns the rented vehicle after hours, the customer is responsible for the car until the location is opened and the keys are in the company's possession.
Vă roarăm să rețineți: if you pick up your car late or bring it in early, you will not be reimbursed for unused hours or days.
Protecție și excess:
* Low risk (damage + theft) or LR is not mandatory. LR reduces the lessee's financial responsibility for the rented car by between €200 and €1000, depending on the type of vehicle.
* No risk or NR is optional and reduce the customer's liability to a deposit of 50 - 100 euro depending on the type of vehicle, for fuel.
Vă roarăm să rețineți: In case of accident, damage or theft, regardless of the cause or who is at fault, even if the car has been parked, the driver must obtain the relevant report from the local authorities. Failure to do so or failure to submit a correctly completed police report to the rental agent upon return of the vehicle will void the NR, and the driver will be liable for the full cost of the damage up to the full value of the vehicle, including loss of use, administrative costs and depreciation.
Vă roarăm să rețineți: The cost of towing the towbar/platform or improperly fueled vehicle, lack of fuel, loss or damage to vehicle keys, acting the original vehicle or optional equipment (parking tickets, temporary plate) are not covered by any insurance, including the interior of the car and any other damage caused by misuse or negligence.
In these events, the company will retain the full amount mentioned in the franchise, deposit or excess. In case of damage, the company does not accept the "Certified Amicable Agreement between the parties" forms.
The îCar rental Informații importantIn case of accident, damage or mechanical difficulties, you should call us immediately on 004 0747 729 446. For accidents, a police report and incident report will be required. If no protection has been purchased, you may be required to pay an additional fee on top of the excess amount for the cost of immobilisation. It is the customer's obligation to ensure that all damages have been included/specified in the repair report and to assist the company and the insurance company in any legal action or court action.
Restricție of vârstă și șprovide additionalMinimum age is 21 years. Age-related fees and restrictions will apply 50 euro / rental contract. The cost for an additional driver is 10 euro / rental contract. A maximum of 2 additional drivers are allowed and all are subject to the age restriction.
Management în străinătate: Premium, Minivan, Full-size and Luxury vehicles are not allowed to leave the territory of Romania. Vehicles in other categories may drive in European countries, subject to prior notification and company approval. In order to drive the rented vehicle outside the country, the client must pay a minimum fee: 50 euro for a rental of less than 5 days or 15 euro/day for a rental of more than 7 days. You must not take the vehicle and leave Romania without the written permission of the company, a DOUBLE penalty will be applied. In case of damage / technical problems, the renter is obliged to transport the vehicle to Romania at his own expense.
Opțiuni on fuel policyWhen you pick up your car, the fuel tank will be full. If the car is returned with less fuel than at the time of pick-up, the customer will pay the full cost of the result and value added tax plus a 20 euro administration fee. The full tank option is available for €100 if paid before pick-up and can be returned empty at no extra cost.
Îoutside working hours:
* Reservations: Monday - Sunday between 09:00 - 21:00.
* Delivery or Return: working hours: Monday - Friday between 09:00 - 18:00 without charge; between 18:00 - 08:00 and weekends The customer will pay a fee of 10 euros per activity.
Condiții suplimentare pentru equip: Additional accessories will be subject to any applicable sales tax. Airport tax 0 euro, included in the rental price. 2. Deliveries and collections outside the office 10 euro each. 3. Child seat 10 euro . For cleaning the upholstery of the child seat 20 euro will be charged. 4. GPS navigation system 10 euro . In case the optional devices are lost or broken, the company will charge - GPS = 150 euro; Child seat = 50 euro.
Legislationție: The laws of the country in which this Agreement was signed shall apply to this Agreement and any court that transmits actions relating to this Agreement shall comply with the laws of the country of reference. All fees in this agreement include VAT.

To protect your privacy and safeguard your personal information, we monitor and implement reasonable processes and procedures to prevent unauthorized access and misuse of personal information. We use appropriate, up-to-date systems and technologies to protect your personal data in a secure manner.
Your Data Controller
NAFI AUTO EXPERT S. R. L. , with registered office in Bucharest, Str. AV. Romeo Popescu Nr. 10, Sector 1, with registration number in the Commercial Register of the Court of Bucharest J40/15532/2020 and unique registration code: 43335263 , collects and processes personal data in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 677 of 21.11.2001, and since 25.05.2018 and with the provisions of EU Regulation no. 679 of 27.04.2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
PRINCIPLES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
The personal data collected will be:
* processed lawfully, fairly and transparently vis-à-vis the data subject ("lawfulness, fairness and transparency");
* collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a way incompatible with those purposes ("purpose limitation");
* adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed ("data minimisation");
* accurate and , if necessary, will be updated ("accuracy");
kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data are processed ("storage limitations");
* processed in a way that ensures appropriate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, by taking appropriate technical or organisational measures ("integrity and confidentiality").
CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA THAT MAY BE PROCESSED
Personal identification data (name, surname, address, age, telephone number, email address, ID card/passport number and series, driving licence number and series, handwritten signature). The data are necessary for the valid conclusion of rental contracts and the contractual relationship with the Operator.
Personal financial details (bank account information). The data is necessary for analysing the insurance need and for identifying the optimal insurance product in relation to financial capabilities.
Information on the location, image and video recordings of individuals, IP address captured when using the website. The data is needed to improve the services offered, to resolve complaints about the condition of the car, as well as any requests from customers regarding the rented cars.
THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE DATA ARE PROCESSED
NAFI AUTO EXPERT S.R.L. collects and processes your personal data for the following purposes:
1- Requests and bookings - When you request a quote or make a booking on our website, we use your personal data to create a quote or to set up and complete the booking transaction and to send you the necessary details about your booking. Similarly, we may use your personal data to complete and administer the booking of any ancillary product or service (such as insurance) and to pass on the necessary details to that supplier;
* When creating a user account on our website www.nafirent.ro , we ask and collect your name, surname, email address, mobile phone, these data are required for pre-contractual purposes, in order to make a reservation.
2) Conclusion and execution of the rental contract, including informing you about the status of your reservation, validation, provision of services and invoicing, solving cancellations or problems of any kind related to the services provided;
3) Analyze and improve our services and communications to you;
4) For insurance purposes and the processes involved in insurance (e.g. damage assessment, evaluation and settlement of damage claims);
5) Protecting security and managing access to our premises;
6) For the detection and prevention of fraud and other illegal or unauthorized activities.
7) For the purpose of monitoring and evaluating compliance with our policies and standards;
8) For the purpose of respecting and exercising and/or defending our legal rights;
9) For the settlement of potential disputes submitted to the courts (common law or arbitration, domestic or foreign);
10) communications or reports to the appropriate state or government authorities, institutions or agencies;
11) debt recovery (where applicable).
* We do NOT use your personal data for statistics or to identify you later. The only identification is possible when you wish to do so (make a reservation for a rental vehicle or wish to manage a previous reservation) and is only done for the purpose of pre-filling the form with your data, which you have previously provided knowingly.
The legal grounds for processing your data for the purposes mentioned above are:
Conclusion and execution of the car rental contract, as well as the execution at your request of the steps prior to the conclusion of the insurance contract;
a legal obligation of the Controller, where the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation;
the legitimate interest of the Operator, for activities such as the legal defence of the rights and interests of the company, the proper administration of the business, the provision of information.
your consent in cases expressly provided for by law.
Categories of recipients to whom the collected personal data may be transmitted:
state authorities (including tax authorities, consumer protection and insurance authorities, state criminal prosecution authorities) as a result of a legal obligation of the Operator;
service providers directly/indirectly involved in the car rental process (e.g. payment/banking services, insurance, car servicing, ITP deposit/tyre exchange, car towing and other similar services);
Those who provide security and other protection for the Operator's systems;
Those who collaborate in the area of debt collection from customers (if applicable);
suppliers of goods and services provided by third parties identified on our website, in order to enable them to contact you to provide you with relevant products or services.
Transfer of personal data to a country outside the European Economic Area
If it is necessary to transfer and process your personal data to a country outside the European Union, NAFI AUTO EXPERT S.R.L. will ensure that the processing of personal data complies with the security requirements to which processing within the European Community is subject, which include compliance with EU standards on the processing of personal data, thus ensuring that the requirements of the legislation on the protection of personal data are met.
Duration of storage of collected data
Personal data will be processed at least for the duration of the rental contract, and subsequently for the time necessary for the performance of contractual obligations by either party. When they are no longer reasonably required for the Purposes mentioned or when you withdraw your consent (if such consent has been granted) and NAFI AUTO EXPERT S.R.L. is no longer legally obliged to continue storing such data, your personal data will be deleted or erased.
However, we will retain your personal data for a reasonable period of time in accordance with NAFI AUTO EXPERT S.R.L.'s legitimate interest in exercising or defending a right of NAFI AUTO EXPERT S.R.L. or another person in court, until the end of the relevant retention period or until the resolution of the relevant court action.
Your rights regarding your personal data
In connection with the processing of personal data under the conditions specified in the EU Data Protection Regulation 679/2016 you may exercise any of the following rights:
Right of access to the database and right to information - means that you have the right to obtain confirmation from the controller whether or not it is processing personal data about you and, if so, access to that data and information on how the data is processed.
The right of intervention on data consists of the right to obtain on request and free of charge the rectification, updating, blocking, restriction or erasure of data whose processing does not comply with the law, in particular inaccurate data, data which are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or when the data subject withdraws the consent on the basis of which the processing is carried out.
The right to object is the right to object to the processing of your personal data on legitimate grounds relating to your particular situation. You also have the right to object at any time, free of charge and without any justification, to the processing of your data for commercial or direct marketing purposes by the Operator.
The right to withdraw your consent - Consent may be withdrawn at any time where the processing of personal data relating to you has been carried out on the basis of your consent.
The right to data portability refers to the right to receive your personal data in a structured format and the right to have this data transmitted directly to another controller, if technically feasible.
Right to erasure of data ("right to be forgotten") - this involves the right to request the erasure of personal data concerning you in certain circumstances, such as (i) personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed, (ii) your data have been unlawfully processed, (iii) the processing of your data has taken place on the basis of your consent and your consent has been withdrawn.
Right to restriction of processing - This involves the right to request and obtain the restriction of the processing of personal data relating to you in certain circumstances, such as (i) you contest the accuracy of the data for as long as it would allow us to verify the accuracy of that data, (ii) your data has been unlawfully processed and you object to its deletion by requesting restriction of its use.
The other rights guaranteed by the relevant legal provisions are:
* the right not to be subject to an individual decision based solely on automated processing including profiling;
* the right to take legal action to defend any rights guaranteed by law;
* the right to be notified by the Controller of security breaches that have/may have an impact on data subjects' data.
* In order to exercise the above-mentioned rights, the persons concerned shall send a written request, signed and dated, to the correspondence address of the operator: AV. Romeo Popescu nr 10, Bucharest, or by e-mail to office@nafirent.ro , and will receive a reply within 30 days from the date of registration in the company's records.
Apart from the situations mentioned above, data subjects may lodge a complaint against the processing directly with NAFI AUTO EXPERT S.R.L., stating their request, the reason for their dissatisfaction and/or the rights they consider have been violated, or they may submit a complaint to the National Supervisory Authority for the Processing of Personal Data (www.dataprotection.ro) but no earlier than 30 days after submitting a complaint to the Controller.
Subsequent changes to the privacy policy:
